In this edition there will be 4 “super-artists”: the South African Strijdom van der Merwe, who uses materials he finds on site (sand, water, wood, rocks and stone: by shaping these elements into geometric forms he juxtaposes the contrast between artwork and environment, growth and destruction), and the author of “The Brooms” in the first edition; Pedros Campos da Costa, Portuguese architect seeking to adopt innovative technology, such as eco-materials and low emission technology, as well as passive design principles, a University professor and curator of the Portuguese pavilion at the Venice Biennale in 2014 and Humus Park guest in 2014; Marie Helene Hess Boson, Humus Park veteran and Peter Hesse’s partner, a Land Art expert artist, specialized in sculpture with various materials from paper to wax and plaster, teaching Land Art in many countries; Gyöngy Laky, born in Budapest, Hungary, and emigrated to the United States as a small child, now professor emerita at the University of California, who will “work” both weeks.
